The Croydon Partnership support The Croydon Food & Music Festival - Sunday 25th June 2017
Croydon Food and Music Festival is the borough’s biggest and best summer party for foodies and music lovers. Organised by the independent South Croydon Business Association, it is held in the town’s Restaurant Quarter, famous for its fabulous international cuisine.
Boasting chefs with an incredible passion for food, the Quarter offers an outstanding range of eating options, including a Michelin-rated restaurant. In 2016 over 12,000 festival-goers enjoyed an afternoon of fantastic alfresco dining plus some great live music. And this year’s event, on Sunday, 25th June, is set to be even bigger and better.
Re-named the Croydon Food & Music Festival for 2017, it will feature three stages of live music, covering every genre from folk and rock to jazz and blues, plus street performers and children’s entertainment, as well as a huge range of fantastic food.
Steve Yewman, Development Director, Westfield, said: “We are again delighted to be supporting this year’s Croydon Food & Music Festival. It promises to be a fantastic event for the community, and we’re particularly excited to have local cake-maker and winner of our Dragon’s Den entrepreneur competition, Keisha Emanuel, joining us on our stall serving her tasty treats.”
Carolyn Kenney, Development Director, Hammerson, said: “Events such as this are a great way for us to support the community, meet local residents and give them the opportunity to find out more about our plans for the redevelopment of Croydon’s retail town centre. We’re looking forward to the festival and hope to meet as many people as possible on the day.”
