The Croydon Partnership, the joint venture between Westfield and Hammerson, is giving small local companies the opportunity to take advantage of a unique training course designed to help them learn how the internet and social media can help support their business.

The Croydon Partnership is sponsoring the Digital High Street Skills programme, which allows local businesses to take part in this unique training course by subsidising the cost of participation.

Digital High Street Skills is a tailor-made suite of training programmes specifically designed to help small businesses develop their knowledge of the internet, social media and the benefits of getting their business online, all with the aim of equipping local enterprises with the confidence, skills and tools they need to benefit from the rapid growth of e-tailing and ultimately increase their bottom line.

Steve Yewman from the Croydon Partnership said: “As a major and long term investor in Croydon, we are committed to working with and supporting local businesses. Digital technology is revolutionising the way companies do business, and by equipping small firms with the confidence, skills and knowledge of the internet and social media, we can help give them a competitive edge.”
