The Croydon Partnership has launched a Dragon’s Den competition to support great new business ideas for Croydon. Pitch your proposal to our panel of Dragons and you could win start-up funding, business development mentoring and a possible pop-up space in central Croydon.

What is the Croydon Partnership Dragons Den programme?

The Croydon Partnership is investing over £1 billion in transforming Croydon’s town centre and now we are offering a unique opportunity to work with us.

We are supporting innovative and exciting new businesses that will be part of Croydon’s bright future, and so through our Dragons Den we’re offering funding and support to start-up business ideas across Croydon.

The best ideas will get to pitch to our Dragons from The Croydon Partnership board, which includes senior figures from Westfield and Hammerson, two global companies with incredible expertise in retail and business.

Two winners will be chosen to receive funding, business development expertise and the potential of a pop-up retail space. We’ll get you on your feet and give you the tools to become a successful business, part of a thriving retail centre.

Can I Enter?

To be eligible you must:

• Be based in Croydon
• Have a business idea that will offer something to the people of Croydon
• Have an idea that can make use of the Croydon Partnership’s expertise and a potential pop-up unit in central Croydon
• Have a sound business proposition and the potential to be financially sustainable without reliance on grant funding
• Be able to legally set up and start trading by the end of January 2016.
